چکیده
This paper is intended to explore the study of permissible orders Khasibi segments in formatting syllable templates (phonotactics). The treatment phonotactic rules and representations syllables touched on by means two influential factors. One them non-linear perspective that used cover hierarchal mapping syllables. other greater exploitation theory distinctive features elucidate phonetic properties sound which are made up. overall phonontactic scene Arabic thus integrated double phonological instruments attain some sort comprehensiveness universality simultaneously manifest a degree idiosyncrasy. Different results objectively reached, most noteworthy one X-position consonants (consonantal clusters) formed uniquely whereby certain phenomena like geminates ambi-syllabicity directly responsible for such formation.

متن کاملSimilarity and phonotactics in Arabic
The statistical patterns of language are systematic linguistic data which must be accounted for in linguistic theory. The phonotactics of the Arabic verbal roots are presented as a case study. In Arabic, the acceptability of a verbal root is gradiently dependent on the similarity of homorganic consonant pairs within the root. We propose the stochastic constraint model of phonological patterning...

PHONOTACTICS Donca Steriade, UCLA Abstract Phonotactic statements characterize contextual restrictions on the occurrence of segments or feature values. This study argues that consonantal phonotactics are best understood as syllable-independent, string-based conditions reflecting positional differences in the perceptibility of contrasts. The analyses proposed here have better empirical coverage ...
